    I'm fan of the movie and anything Carpenter-related, so this was kind of sure purchase, even if it's not of most important Carpenter movies, but merely an exercise between them. The Fog is probably little bit outdated now, but ghosts and their attacks are still effective. Cast is a pleasure for any horror history scientist - Jamie Lee Curtis, Janet Leigh, Tom Atkins, etc.

    Studio Canal did good job with release - picture is ok but don't expect brilliant transfer like with Alien. Sound is ok, because beside John Carpenter music there is not too many sounds to create some magic with. Discs contain nice extras, I loved the feature about unfilmed Carpenter projects and revisiting the locations. Of course there is classic nice longer looking back documentary.

    Ordered 29th Dec 2023 estimated delivery 12th Jan, delivered on 10th Jan. Off to a good start. Was worried this was only a standard Blu-ray and not 4k, as the format is listed as Blu-ray on the Amazon page.
    Can confirm it is indeed the US 4k UHD Blu-ray and it plays on my UK 4k player, have not tried the standard Blu-ray but I believe that is region locked so don't imagine it will play.
    The bad, the standard Blu-ray had some minor scratches on it and needed some cleaning, the 4k disc was fine but did need a little clean. I suspect this is a used item thats why I am giving it a 3 stars rating as it is not in new condition, otherwise item as described and delivered before estimated delivery(but delivered in a bubble wrap envelope which is not good enough for overseas delivery)
