Product description
Hollywood remake of the Hong Kong chiller, 'Jian Gui' (2002). Accomplished concert violinist Sydney Wells (Jessica Alba) has been blind since childhood. After undergoing a double corneal transplant, her sight is finally restored. Her post-surgery recovery is helped along by the support of her sister Helen (Parker Posey) and neural ophthalmologist Paul Faulkner (Allessandro Nivolo). As Sydney adjusts to a dazzling world of shapes and colours she begins to see inexplicable images of death and horror. At first, these visions are passed off as an after-effect of the surgery, but Sydney is convinced she's seeing something terrifyingly real. As her friends and family become fearful for her sanity, Sydney realises that the answer to her nightmare must lie with her anonymous eye donor...

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 December 2014considering Jessica alba actually manages to keep her clothes on in this film which surprised me it wasn't bad but if I were her id stick to roles where I am flaunting my body more to keep the audience attention its an ok film.
- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 January 2018It was broken/ and never worked but wasn’t worth the hassle of returning it so binned it. 🤨

- Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 15 April 2009First off this is no match on the original and it is made far worse by Jessica Alba's inability to act and her expressions run all the way from A to B. When her face should show shock or outright fear she gives the impression her underwear is just a tad uncomfortable. For all that an hour or so of eye candy if you are so inclined. She should stick to posing semi clad in surfer style movies and leave the acting to the actors.Don't pay full whack for Blu-Ray the film really doesn't benefit from the transfer.

I bought this release with the hope of a slip-cover, but I was mistaken. I had to sell on Ebay
